Summer is filled with events at local libraries

SWEETWATER COUNTY – From Wyoming author Cat Urbigkit and the Game and Fish Department to a magician and a ventriloquist, the Sweetwater County Library System has a big lineup of events for both kids and adults this summer.

The Sweetwater County Library in Green River, Rock Springs Library and White Mountain Library in Rock Springs will all have weekly events for children throughout the summer as part of the Every Hero has a Story Summer Reading Program.

Here’s a look at the children’s events:

Library in the Park – Summer Reading Celebration, most events will be held at Expedition Island

Programs for school-age kids and the whole family

Medieval Faire

Medieval crafts, games, music, duelists, vendors and more! Costumes encouraged.

Weekly Displays
The library will have weekly interactive displays throughout the summer to help kids transform themselves into superheroes.
