Sweetwater County Candidate Filings Report: May 26

SWEETWATER COUNTY — Sweetwater County residents wanting to file for office for the Primary Election only have two more days to do so.

While most seats have a least one person running for office, there are still a couple of seats open on the Granger Town Council. On the state level, House District 39 incumbent Marshall Burt will file as a Libertarian, but does not have to do so in the primary election. No other candidates have filed for that seat as of today.

The Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, August 16, and residents have until the end of the day Friday, May 27, to file. To see the complete Sweetwater County candidate filings list, click here. To see the state’s complete filing list, click here.
