I was born and raised in Rock Springs, WY, and have lived in Sweetwater County my entire life with the exception of those years spent in college at the University of Wyoming. I am currently the Vice President of Sales & Service at Vaughn’s Plumbing & Heating Co. where I have been employed for over 12 years. I enjoy giving back to this community and trying to make it a better place for all to enjoy.

I have lived in Green River for 24 years. I served as the Treasurer for Rock Springs Gymnastics for 6 years. I have worked in the County Clerk’s office for the last 21 years. I have the experience and the desire to lead the office.

I am a Rock Springs native. My wife and I raised two wonderful boys here in Rock Springs. We also have two beautiful granddaughters. Our family all live here in Rock Springs. I graduated from Rock Springs high school, and I went to college at the University of Wyoming and the University of Utah where I studied architectural engineering.

I’m a lifelong resident of Sweetwater County, and I taught for Sweetwater County School District #1 for 28 years. I retired from the classroom in 2021. I continue to coach high school football and I’ve just started season number 29, I have also coached track at the high school and junior high level and I continue coaching at RSJH.

Mark and his wife Lindsay and daughters Bailey and Gracie moved to Rock Springs in 2004 and have been actively involved in the community.
Mark started his working career as a financial services representative for New York Life and quickly founded his own insurance brokerage agency. Mark then spent several years I. The hospitality industry as a corporate trainer and in 2007 was a founding member of Radiant Manufacturing, a business located in Sweetwater County that provides displays and signage to businesses around the world.

I am a long-time resident of Rock Springs and a former city employee. I have been active in the community in many different areas. I enjoy the people of Sweetwater County/Rock Springs now that I’m getting close to retirement, I want to continue to serve the residents of this community hopefully as the Representative of ward 4 on the next city council.
