I have a Bachelors in Political Science, and a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Wyoming. I was not born in Wyoming, both of my parents could not find work to stay in the state. I spent almost every summer in Riverton and Dubois area with family growing up. My grandfather, Charles Jones of Riverton, and my Uncle John Story of Dubois, and my Uncle William Urbigit of Riverton immediately saw my love of Wyoming as a child. They ensured I went hunting, fishing, camping, working cattle, and fixing fence every summer. I loved every day of it, as soon as I could, I came home to Wyoming in 2000.
My family and I are lifelong residents of Rock Springs and Sweetwater County. I retired from the oil and gas industry after a successful 35 year career. My responsibilities included finance, accounting, and asset management.
As a Wyoming native with backgrounds in education, sales, agriculture and public service and a graduate of Green River High School, I have deep roots in the state.

Last July, I was honored to be appointed to fill a vacancy on our Board of County Commissioners. Since then, I have been working hard with my fellow electeds and throughout our community to ensure Sweetwater County is in the best possible position during this very difficult time. I have jumped at every opportunity to push for strong and diverse economic development, sound and fiscally conservative decisions, and a community that collaborates to be strong and viable!
