Swimming and Diving Results: Wolves Take First, Tigers Follow in Second

GREEN RIVER — The Green River Wolves hosted four familiar opponents in the pool this weekend, earning yet another team victory this season. Rock Springs, Evanston, Kemmerer and Lyman competed in the meet, which featured 12 events.

The Wolves earned eight, first-place finishes on the day, with Jason Richmond leading the way with two first-place finishes. Although Green River’s diving team was uncontested, Braxton Cordova finished atop the team with a score of 338.70.

As for the Tigers, Jeran Spicer took first place in the 500 free, while John Spicer came in second in the 200 free and third in the 100 free with state qualifying times in both.

Green River finished in first place as a team with 388 points. Rock Springs followed next in second place with 254 points.
