ROCK SPRINGS – William August “Willie” Trujillo, 64, of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at his home. He had been a life long resident of Rock Springs.
He was born on March 30, 1951 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the son of the late Tony M. Trujillo and Lucy Vigil Trujillo.
Mr. Trujillo attended schools in Superior, Wyoming and Rock Springs, Wyoming. He also attended Western Wyoming Community College where he obtained a certification in Industrial Mechanics. He was employed for many years as a Maintainence Mechanic for Pacific Corp.
His interests included fishing, hunting, camping, where he was the camp cook, gardening and rebuilding cars. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family and friends. He was an avid chihuahua dog lover.
Survivors include two sons Joseph R. Trujillo Sr. and wife Kamille of Randolph, Utah and William August Trujillo and wife Desiree of St. George, Utah; one daughter Wanda Maria Trujillo Dickey and husband Vernon of Rock Springs, Wyoming; nine grandchildren; five brothers Tony J. Trujillo and wife Lillian,Edward G. Trujillo and wife Penny, David P. Trujillo and Frank Trujillo all of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Robert A. Trujillo of Cheyenne, Wyoming; six sisters Marina I. Cox and husband Don of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Martha P. Gindt of Manetewoc, Wisconsin, Margaret A. Reed and husband James of Harrisburg Pennsylvania, Lucille D. Murphy of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Bertha Flanagan of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Bonnie Winner and husband Don of Rock Springs, Wyoming;several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son Charlie; his parents, nephew Tony Trujillo III, brother-in-law Don Murphy and faithful companion Winnie.
Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday, July 13, 2015 at the New Life Ministries, 105 “K” Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
