GREEN RIVER — One classroom at the Sweetwater County Child Developmental Center (SCCDC) in Green River will move to the Tier 2 plan after the center was notified one employee has tested positive for the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
According to a letter posted on the SCCDC’s Facebook page Wednesday, November 4, the SCCDC was informed a staff member tested positive for the virus.
“One classroom at the Green River center will be on the Tier 2 plan through November 15.”
Like school districts, the Tier 2 plan is moving a classroom to virtual online learning until it is safe to return to the classroom.
All close contacts to the staff member whether determined in school or outside of school hours have already been notified of quarantine orders from Sweetwater County Public Health.
“The SCCDC is taking extra measures to ensure we have a heightened level of deep cleaning, sanitizing and personal safety in place,” the letter states.
