EVANSTON – The Lady Tigers had a strong first day at the 4A West Regional Track Meet. Rock Springs trails Natrona by 27 points, 84 to 57. Kelly Walsh is right behind the Lady Tigers with 56 points. Green River finished day one in fifth.

Rock Springs has already added a few regional championship trophies. Maliya Crouch dominated the shot put to earn a regional title.

The 4×100 Lady Tiger Relay team of  Selena Cudney, Elyssa Simpson, MaKenzie Kroupa, Lyndzie Kroupa broke through to take the regional title.

Lady Tiger Karli Piaia just missed a title as she finished in second in the 3200.

Bobbi Parker and Lyndzie Kroupa are leading events after the preliminaries. Parker leads both the 100 meters and 200 meters while Kroupa is top in the 100-meter hurdles.

 

Green River

The Lady Wolves had several strong performances. In the 800 Finals Josie Givens crossed the line in second.

Kasey Turnbull is second after the prelims in the 300 hurdles.

In the 100 hurdles, Holly Huber is second after the prelims.
