Summer may be winding down, but there is still time for one more day of family fun in downtown Green River.
Earthwise Apothecary & Mercantile is hosting the Sweetwater Summer Send-Off on Saturday, August 29, at 131 E. Railroad Avenue. The community is invited to enjoy local vendors, food trucks, sidewalk art and music throughout the day.
The Sidewalk Chalk Art Walk will kick things off from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., giving participants a chance to add some color and creativity to downtown Green River.
Beginning at noon, visitors can shop the vendor fair and grab something to eat from local food trucks. Both will be available until 7 p.m.
The afternoon will also feature a family-friendly street dance with local DJ Bubble Base from 3 to 7 p.m. Bring the family, support local businesses and help celebrate the end of another Sweetwater County summer.
Vendors and Sidewalk Chalk Art Walk participants can find registration forms on the Earthwise Apothecary & Mercantile Facebook page or pick one up inside the store.
