SWEETWATER COUNTY – After presenting to the National High school Finals Rodeo Association at their mid-winter meeting, the Sweetwater Events Complex returned with some good news.

This past year, the complex finalized a deal that will bring the national competition back to Rock Springs in 2018 and 2019. After the meetings, the complex announced they have added two more years. The NHSFR will be back in Sweetwater County in 2024 and 2025.

The Association consists of representatives of both the high school and junior high school directors. Complex officials said they are still hoping to work out a rotation for the National Junior High School Finals Rodeo.
