CASPER – For several years, the Green River Lady Wolves Cross Country has been a small group of dedicated runners. Led by a sixth-place finish by Kaisa Arnell, this small group finished the 4A West Regional race in fifth.

Arnell finished with a time 19:56.36 to lead the Lady Wolves. Jackson took the top three spots with Anna Gibson running away with the title posting a 18:24.32. Arnell  was four seconds from cracking the top five.

Another big key to the fifth-place finish was Kezley Moore. She raced to a 12th-place finish with a time of 20:16.51. Moore was only ten seconds out of the top ten.

Just missing the top 20 were Lady Wolves Carly Kettering and Sydney Hosford. Kettering finished in the 27th spot while Hosford was right behind in the 28th spot.

It’s off to Sheridan next weekend and a run for a state title.
