ROCK SPRINGS — The Sweetwater County GOP will host their annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Saturday, April 26th. New this year is a meet and greet social hour with local and state Republican Candidates. Governor Matt Mead is expected to attend, along with two additional gubernatorial candidates- Dr. Taylor Haynes and Superintendent of Public Instruction Cindy Hill. Sweetwater County’s own Clark Stith, candidate for Secretary of State along with Ed Buchannon and Ed Murray, candidates for Secretary of State, are also expected to attend. Jillian Ballow, candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction, along with Congressman Cynthia Lummis and State Treasurer Mark Gordon have also confirmed attendance. The event will headline Steven Crowder, FoxNews’ youngest commentator, now most famously known as a Conservative lightening rod, entertainer, activist and commentator.
The event is held at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs. The theme, Building Our Future With Freedom, is proving to be immensely popular, so much so that the Wyoming Republican Party picked up the theme for their state convention. Music from the Sundowners, along with live and silent auctions will highlight the evening.
The Sweetwater County Republican Party invites everyone to attend this premier social event in Wyoming. The social hour begins at 5 pm and dinner begins at 7 pm. Tickets are $75 and available at the Green River and Rock Springs Chambers of Commerce.
