FARSON-EDEN– The Farson-Eden High School boys basketball team finished in second place at the 1A West Regional Tournament in Lander, while the girls basketball team went 1-2, bringing their season to a close.
FEHS Boys Basketball
The Pronghorns won their first game on Thursday over Dubois, 60-12. They won their game against Encampment on Friday, 58-53, in two overtimes, to secure their spot at state.
They then took on Burlington on Saturday, but fell 64-61, in two overtimes.
The Pronghorns will take on Hulett (#3 East) on Thursday, March 1, at 7:30 pm, for their first game of the 1A State Basketball Tournament. State will be hosted at Casper College.
FEHS Girls Basketball
The Lady Pronghorns dropped their first game on Thursday to St. Stephens, 62-54. They then won their game on Friday over Dubois, 53-37.
However, the girls were eliminated from participating at the state tournament after dropping their Saturday game to Little Snake River, 50-30.
