ROCK SPRINGS — The recent news regarding the Deseret Care Facility has prompted the need for donations of food to provide for the needs of the residents. In an effort to help, the three Rock Springs Fire Department Stations and the Sweetwater County Fire District #1 Fire Station will serve as drop-off points for food donations. Food items needed are as follows:

Bread; Fruits and Vegetables; Peanut Butter; Eggs, Cheese, and Milk; Frozen Meats such as Chicken Breasts; Juice; Other packaged and sealed food items.

These items can be dropped off at any time 24/7 at any of the three Rock Springs Fire Department Stations at the following addresses:

600 College Drive

2117 Hillcrest Drive

145 Industrial Drive

Or at the Sweetwater County Fire District #1 Fire station between 8 am – 4 pm Monday through Friday at:
