Fly Fishing Film Tour – F3T coming back to Rock Springs

Fly Fishing Film Tour – F3T coming back to Rock Springs

The Seedskadee Chapter of Trout Unlimited recently announced that they will be bringing the Fly Fishing Film Tour – F3T to Rock Springs on April 2. Tickets are being sold now online and also at both Rock Springs and Green River Chambers of Commerce. The film will start at 7pm (Holiday Inn-Ballroom), but doors open at 6pm for raffles and drawings that will feature fly fishing float trips, a YETI cooler, artwork by Zach Even Art, a fly rod, fly fishing gear and much more.

This showing, a project started in 2007, features fly fishing short films from all over the world. It has grown exponentially since then to reach over 50,000 fly fishing enthusiasts each year and has raised over $300,000 for conservation projects and groups like Trout Unlimited, Wild Steelhead Coalition, Bonefish Tarpon Trust, Stop Pebble Mine and more. This is one of the biggest events in the fly fishing world and is meant for anyone that loves fly fishing and the outdoors to those who are curious and want to learn more about one of the fastest growing sports in the world.

This will be the second year that we’ve had the opportunity to bring F3T to Sweetwater County. Last year’s film and event was great with local outdoorsmen and women getting together to watch the film and socialize. We are excited for another great year! There are also some great prizes and in the end the proceeds go to a great cause – the rehabilitation, conservation and protection of the waters that we fish and love.
