GREEN RIVER – Learn how to make scarves a trendy addition to your wardrobe by attending a program at the Sweetwater County Library.
Alaina Henderson is presenting “Tied Up in Knots” at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 3 at the library, 300 N. 1st East in Green River.
In the class, Henderson will explore the history of the scarf and teach attendees new ways to tie different sized scarves. “The attendees will be able to learn a bit of background information and few new ways to tie their scarves, bringing new life to old scarves,” Henderson said.
Henderson asks those planning to attend to bring scarves in a few different sizes and shapes so they can experiment with tying them. “This will be a very interactive and hands-on event,” Henderson said. “So bring a friend. The more the merrier!”
Tied Up in Knots is a free event and preregistration is not required.
