RAWLINS – The Green River Knights bounced back from a late inning loss to Douglas to end the season.
On Thursday the Knights responded with 13 runs and solid defense as they moved on in the South District Tournament with a 13-3 win over Torrington. The win qualified the Knights for the State Tournament.
The will be back on the diamond Friday as they face Cheyenne at 4 p.m. Cheyenne beat Evanston on Thursday to punch its ticket to state. The winner will be top seed at the State Tournament.
