COACH’S CORNER
Q: Let’s talk a little bit about last season. What were you proud of? What did you wish went better?
Hansen: “The athletes worked real hard through the entire season in which we had three meets canceled due to road closures. I just wished that our athletes would have had more opportunities to compete.”
Q: What are your initial thoughts about this upcoming season?
Hansen: “I’m interested in how our underclassman will mess with our upperclassman. We also have some new athletes to the program which could make a difference in the overall strength of the program. This is the biggest team, number wise, that we have had in the last seven years.”
Q: How do you compare against your competition?
Hansen: “We compete against the entire state, so to qualify for the state championship meet is quite an accomplishment. I hope that we can send a few athletes from our team this year to the meet.”
