Holy Spirit Fundraiser a Roaring Success

ROCK SPRINGS — The Holy Spirit Catholic School held their Roaring 20’s Gala & Auction at the Holiday Inn Ballroom Saturday evening. The event is their premier annual fundraising event benefitting the school. It was created to support the development and operations of Holy Spirit Catholic School’s educational program and continue to provide the children academic excellence.

Guests arriving in 20’s inspired fashion, were handed a glass of champagne, began bidding on the silent auction containing with over 90 items, then entered the lavishly decorated ballroom. The evening was filled with loads of entertainment including guest entertainer and school alumni, Mikaela Goicoechea, raffles, surprise drawings, and live auction.

There were 34 live auction items including a fishing trip to Alaska donated by Egbert Water Service, Wyoming Cowboys vs Nebraska Cornhusker Package donated by Commerce Bank, firearms, artwork, and more! Each class contributed handcrafted items that were on display as well.

The exciting event included five different raffles with over 40 prizes that included firearms, spa packages and more! The major raffle of the evening was the traditional $10,000 prize. The winner was drawn at the end of the evening and announced. The lucky winner was Miriam Delgadillo.
