Joseph “Joe” Earl Gamble, 45, of Rock Springs, passed away on September 3, 2026.

Joe was born on May 5, 1981 in Forest Grove, Oregon, to William Earl Gamble and Jane Marie Bennett. He attended Palm Desert High School and later studied at Western Wyoming Community College. A gifted mechanic with an extraordinary talent for solving problems, Joe loved turning wrenches and could fix just about anything with a motor. He also had an unforgettable sense of humor and delighted in making people laugh with a perfectly timed—and usually wildly inappropriate—joke.

Above all else, Joe was a devoted husband and a loving father. Joe and Beth spent 16 years together- they loved to travel and take spontaneous day trip adventures. He treasured family camping trips, riding dirt bikes, and fishing with those he loved most. Some of his family’s favorite memories were made gathered around backyard bonfires, working together in the garden, and cooling off in the stock-tank pool that Joe proudly built himself.

Joe found joy in the little moments. He loved building remote-control airplanes, trains, and trucks with his son, Wyatt, and never hesitated to join his daughter, Presley, for tea parties, pretend restaurants, and salon days. In one of her favorite memories, Joe insisted on being the one to dye Presley’s hair pink, proudly showing off his pink-stained hands and freshly polished nails afterward.

Joe’s greatest legacy is the love he gave so freely to his family and friends. His laughter, generosity, and ability to make anyone feel at home will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Beth Gallen Gamble; his children, Wyatt and Presley Gamble; his parents, Jane Bennett and Tommy Kesler, and William Gamble and Marilee Wilde; his siblings, Stephanie and Jerry Bond, Dana Bell and David Pryor, Karyn and Randy Desselle, Brent Gamble, Madeline and Wil Smith, Evelyn and Adam Poché; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on October 24th at Noon at The American Legion Archie Hay Post 24 in the Banquet Hall in Rock Springs.
