CASPER – After a strong showing at the final regular season race at home, the Rock Springs Lady Tigers finished sixth in the final race before the state tournament.
Led by Hanna Crockett, the Lady Tigers finished the 4A West Regional in sixth place. The ladies of Jackson took the top three spots to run away with the team title. Natrona and Evanston rounded out the top three.
Crockett was the top Lady Tiger crossing the line in 20th with a time of 21:17.38. In a competitive field, Crockett was only a minute away from a top-ten finish. After leading the ladies of Rock Springs one week ago, Erin Poyer posted a time of 22:05.35  to finish in the 26th position.
Teams will finish the season next weekend as they travel to Sheridan to race for a championship.
