ROCK SPRINGS – The Rock Springs Lady Tigers continued its strong play on Tuesday as they opened a busy week with a win in Lander,
The ladies started strong and only got stronger as the match progressed. Rock Springs took the first set 25-21 and followed it with a 25-19 second-set win. The Lady Tigers dominated in the third, sweeping Lander with a 25-13 win.
“I felt the first two sets were a bit of struggle for us at times.  We had a lot of unforced errors but were able to remain focused to get to 25 before they did,” Head Coach Stephanie Hardesty said. “The third set the girls came out fired up ready for a win.  We took care of the ball and improved our communication.  It was nice to see the girls take charge of the game and win it 25-13.”
The win starts a busy week of competition for RSHS. The ladies will be home for weekend conference competition against Evanston and Jackson. The coach is excited about this weekend.
“Coming off of a win will help us going into our games Friday and Saturday against Evanston and Jackson. Â The girls have been working really hard at improving their ball control and decreasing their hitting errors. Â I am so excited to see them play this weekend.”
