GREEN RIVER — The Green River Police Department says one person died after being hit by a vehicle Wednesday evening. 

The GRPD says a pedestrian versus vehicle crash occurred at about 7:23 p.m. on Monroe Avenue, resulting in a death and a second person being transported to Salt Lake City for treatment. The GRPD declined to release further details of the crash.
