ROCK SPRINGS – The chill is in the air, football is on television and leaves are starting to show a little fall color. On Sept. 15, the Rock Springs splash pads will close for the winter.

The Rock Springs Parks and Recreation Department urged residents to make sure to visit the pads behind the Family Recreation Center and at Garnet Park this weekend or you will have to wait until next summer. Temperatures are forecasted for the high 70’s for Saturday and Sunday. For us Wyomingites, that’s warm, free family fun.
