GREEN RIVER – If you’re looking for a fun, free evening out, stop by the Sweetwater County Library in Green River on Saturday, June 13.
The duo Many Strings and Company will be performing a free concert at 7 p.m. that evening. Many Strings and Company are a group that performs vintage western music and they add in a twist of vaudevillian fun. Their performances are described as sometimes quirky and rarely serious.
Tony and Carol Messerly make up Many Strings. They live in Salem, Utah, and were among the top five finalists for the 2012 western duo group of the year by the Academy of Western artists and 2013 nominees for the Western Music Association duo/group of the year. Tony Messerly also received the 2013 award for yodeler of the year from the Western Music Association.
