#WHYoming: Sally Shoemaker

#WHYoming: Sally Shoemaker

Welcome to our series, #WHYoming.

We are highlighting people from around our communities and asking them a few questions. We want to learn a little about them and see why they chose this great state to raise their families, start their businesses, or simply to ask — Why Wyoming?

For this week’s #WHYoming, I had a chance to sit down with Sally Shoemaker, the Administrative Assistant for the Sweetwater County Board of County Commissioners. She has been serving in this position for 10 years. Sally greets every member of the community with a bright smile and loads of friendliness.

Sally was born and raised in Sweetwater County, and after 10 years living abroad with her husband, they decided to move back and make Green River their home again. Wyoming and Sweetwater County is the perfect fit for Sally and her family, and they have no plans on leaving any time soon.
