ROCK SPRINGS — Patrons at the Rock Springs Family Recreation Center are encouraged to get “strong” with the help of a new fitness class.
STRONG by Zumba™ combines high-intensity interval training with the science of Synced Music Motivation. In every class, music and moves sync in a way that pushes you past your perceived limits to reach your fitness goals faster, explained Tina Dudic, Senior Recreation Supervisor.
We are one of the first facilities in the United States to launch this program, Dudic explained. “It is a very fun, innovative program that is truly for all levels of fitness. You can be a rock star or new to exercise and feel comfortable and have fun,” Dudic said.
With most workout programs, music is an afterthought. The music in STRONG by Zumba™ was crafted to drive the intensity in a challenging progression that provides a total body workout.
Kim Graves, FRC patron, described the class this way, “Come one, come all – STRONG by Zumba™ – I love it. No dancing and shaking, just fun cardio.”
STRONG by Zumba™ classes will be held at the FRC at 7 pm on Monday and Wednesdays. Instructors are Dudic, Andrea Johnson and Ashley Philo.
