EVANSTON – Evanston area Trooper Matt Arnell was recently promoted to become the next Division “D” Lieutenant in Evanston. The promotion is effective today (March 1st). Division D is responsible for all of Uinta County and the southern portion of Lincoln County.
Lieutenant Arnell is a fifteen year veteran with Patrol and has served in the Evanston area throughout his career. Lieutenant Arnell will be taking over for Lieutenant Tim Boumeester who recently transferred northeast to Sundance.
In regards to the promotion, Colonel Kebin Haller stated “Though decisions such as these are difficult to make, I am happy to congratulate Matt Arnell as the Division D Lieutenant. I am confident that Lieutenant Arnell will do an outstanding job both managing and leading Division D.”
