GREEN RIVER — The Sweetwater County Historical Museum is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a festival celebrating the art and culture of the Latino community Sept. 19 from 12-4 p.m.
The Las Angelitas Unidas y Los Rayos del Sol of Cheyenne will perform folklórico dance with traditional music and clothing during the festival as well. The showcase of traditional Mexican dancing will take place from 1-3 p.m.
The festival will also be the opening reception of local artist Angie Quintana Bennett’s “Visual History of Home & Heritage.” Bennett uses watercolor and acrylic to showcase her Hispanic heritage through landscapes and portraits.

The festival will be held at the museum at 3 E Flaming Gorge Way, Green River and put on in partnership with Junos Wyoming and BRIDGES for Community and Unity.
