5K Raises $3,400 for Stassinos and Maheu

ROCK SPRINGS – On Saturday, July 9th Wyo Faction Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts and the Rock Springs Eagles Aerie 151 hosted the White Mountain 5k Run/Walk to benefit the families of Chad Maheu and Johnny Stassinos.

The event ended up raising over $3,400 for these local families.

The two were involved  in an oilfield accident in North Dakota. Maheu remains in the hospital with burns over 70 percent of his body. Stassinos died due to his injuries in the accident.
