CHEYENNE – The Wyoming office of State Lands and Investments has been authorized to assist new and existing partnerships interested in forest health.
The Forest Collaborative Assistance Program (FCAP) is part of the recommendations from Governor Mead’s Task Force on Forests.
The goal of the FCAP program is to encourage and financially support collaborative partnerships that make a positive impact on Wyoming’s forests. Groups can apply for up to $10,000 annually to use towards the facilitation of a collaborative, including but not limited to: hiring a facilitator, meeting space rental, field trip expenses, etc.
A collaborative partnership must have a plan that strives for measurable results and include a diverse range of interests.
