On March 29, 2016, Uintah County Sheriff Deputies took a report of the alleged rape. It had been reported that a nine-year-old female had been allegedly raped by multiple men at a residence located in Uintah County on March 27 while the child’s mother was visiting friends.

According to investigators, while the child was sleeping on the couch, the victim’s mother went into the garage of the home and was smoking methamphetamine. During that time, the child was taken into another room in the home where she was allegedly raped by the four men.

Sheriff’s investigators conducted interviews which led to a search warrant being executed at the residence where the incident occurred. One subject, identified as 36-year-old Larson RonDeau, was detained during the warrant and later arrested on March 29. 20-year-old Josiah RonDeau, 29-year-old Jerry Flatlip, 26-year-old Randall Flatlip, were arrested on March 31 and April 1.

All four subjects were booked into jail on first degree felony rape of a child and first degree felony sodomy on a child.

The child is safe and is in the state’s custody at this time.
