Grants are made by the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation to charitable, non-profit tax exempt organizations that have on impact on communities served by Rocky Mountain Power and Pacific Power. The grants help those nonprofits continue their work in the categories of education, civic and community betterment, culture and arts, and health, welfare and social services.

Sweetwater Family Resource Center Director Kathy Garrison said, “We are especially grateful for the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation’s generosity. They are helping families in our community to maintain secure housing as families work to address the serious financial needs they are facing. The donation will have a positive impact for those families and for our community.

The need for assistance has been high at a time when funding has been difficult, so the impact of this donation is important.”

The Sweetwater Family Resource Center works toward a community of stable and non-violent families and individuals by providing well-structured programs and services to promote their well-being.
