ROCK SPRINGS – With the help of Rock Springs Fire and Police department members, two schools conduced lockout to full Evacuation drills on Monday.
After partnering with the director of transportation, Sage Elementary evacuated all students and staff with the help of nine buses to the Rock Springs Family Recreation Center. No one exited the bus, but the students were shown to where they could potentially be evacuated.
In the afternoon, using 12 buses Eastside Elementary was evacuated in a similar fashion to the Rock Springs Civic Center.

Sweetwater County School District No. 1 administrators said all students and staff did a fantastic job.
