ROCK SPRINGS — The Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center announced today that State Farm Agent Amber Kramer is the winner of the 2021 Paint the Town Pink window contest in Rock Springs.
State Farm Amber Kramer partnered with Donna Audevart, a cancer survivor herself, to paint and encourage Sweetwater County residents to “Bear Your Breast, Get An Exam” and “Bee Brave, Support Cancer Awareness” on the windows of the business on Dewar Drive.
The community agreed and voted the State Farm business as the winner of the Rock Springs award.
“It is so important to our office to participate in honoring and remember those who have been affected,” Kramer said. “We are blessed to have Donna, who can create such beautiful art inside and outside of our office.”
This year 31 businesses entered the contest in Rock Springs and Green River. Rock Springs had at 21 entries, while Green River had 10 businesses enter the contest.
Paint the Town Pink supports the fighters and survivors of cancer, as well as those who have lost their lives to the disease. Sweetwater Regional Cancer Center encourages all women to get a screening because early detection is the best way to battle cancer.
