ROCK SPRINGS – The Rock Springs Main Street/Urban Renewal Agency has named Chris Gold the January Volunteer of the Month.
Chris is a Rock Springs native who went to school here and still has a large family in Rock Springs including his mother, siblings and two sons. He’s a military veteran of nine years and enjoys helping people, especially other veterans, the elderly and those who need his assistance. Chris has been a house painter for 30
Chris has been a house painter for 30 years and previously painted planes in the Navy. He paints both residential and commercial jobs.
Growing up near Downtown, Chris remembers it as the heart of our community and enjoys seeing it come back to life. With the heavy snow in January, Chris routinely helped shovel the Main Street office sidewalks as well as others sidewalks around the area.
