ROCK SPRINGS – It was all Rock Springs as the Tigers moved to 6-2 with the 60-28 win over Cheyenne South Friday night. The Tigers rushed for over 500 yards in the win.
Matt Fowler took the first play from scrimmage 90 yards to get the offense started. Oaklan Jenkins had several long runs going over 200 yards in the first half and four scores on the ground. With the offensive line rolling, the defense shut down a Bison team who is right behind Rock Springs in rushing on the season.

Rock Springs ran all over Gillette last week but struggled to score. Â At the break on Friday, the rushing attack had the Tigers up 46-14. Not only did Jenkins score several times offensively, but he also had a defensive score on the night.
The points slowed down in the second half, but the Tigers offense continued to move the ball. The Bison had a much better second half finding the end zone several times. Jenkins would break another long run for a score to start the fourth and Mason Randall iced the game with a 65-yard run late.
Rock Springs finished with 560 yards on the ground with Jenkins going for 303 and Fowler hitting 180 on the night.
