ROCK SPRINGS — YWCA Sweetwater County has received a $7,500 donation from the U.S. Bank Foundation.
Funds received will assist YWCA clients receiving financial empowerment services as well as the Summer Day Camp. YWCA Financial Empowerment provides education, resources and tools to assist individuals in becoming fiscally responsible and independent.
There are many online resources that offer basic financial education, however, YWCA feels that by providing this information in person there is a greater chance of creating a successful change in habits.
U.S. Bank is dedicated to supporting our communities through responsive and humbled actions focused on addressing racial and economic inequities and creating lasting change in our communities.
Through their Community Possible Grant Program, they are partnering with organizations that focus on economic and workforce advancement, safe and affordable housing and communities connected through arts and culture.
“We are so grateful for the ongoing support of U.S. Bank and their employees.” Cory Darlington, YWCA Financial Empowerment Director. YWCA is offering financial services free of charge in individual, group, or business sessions.
